no probs I was going to say you will probally only be able to get one clamp on the dam things as they seem a bit short or the last one i fitted was I zip tied it tothe engine tin so it had some sort of chance of sucking the fresh air into the engine

Yeh i know what you mean dave. I think they are skimping on the rubber... lol
I usually lay it out in the sun for as long as i can and use a little bit of baby powder to get it fitted on. The original clamps help alot. if you dont have them... you need em.

63- 68 all the same... its not till you hit 69 on they are different.

Try Rex he might have one laying around.

Not all the same! Up to 1963 N and 65 imported 1500S plus some early Fastbacks were different (see pic), then came the ones hanging off the bracket untill around 1969

How desperate are you! You maybe couldn't afford a NOS one 🥲 but here is the deal. I'll pull the one out of my notch for you for a moderate sum and use the NOS one myself. The one in the notch works as it should so you will be able to get up and running again.

Will call you tonight if you give me the number (in PM). We have to keep our old machines running and I'm more interested in that than making money from it.

What we do to keep another early Type 3 on the road! Enjoy driving it when it's back together! Now I have to rewire my old bus!
