2 reasons. 1) I don't like the idea of having to cut the front end about and 2) hey why not be different 🙂
I do love the sleeper look tho 😎

How did the new gearbox work out?subaruboxer wrote:Got the new gearbox today. It has a longer third( 1.22) and fourth (0.82) gear. I am sure this will have an influence on the temps.

Thats the one I'm running and its handled plenty of hot aussie temps already, I'm sure one would work well in Germanysubaruboxer wrote:Alfa Romeo got a nice radiator in the Alfa 33 Alfasud models, it is
545 x 228 x 40 mm core size. Might use it in the future, with my new body.

The Alfasud and early 33 rads like I've got work well, i know a few people running them with turbo and NA engines, the later 33 like Gerrelts are even bigger again.subaruboxer wrote:H i Joel,
the alfasud radiator is a bit bigger, and most important, deeper than the Opel radiator. It is surely working over here. But I didn`t expect it to work in your hot climate, too. It is even cheap. A good choice, no need for an expensive race-all-aluminum-radiator.
